Family Therapy

Family therapy is a way of understanding and treating emotional problems and personal crises by working with the entire family rather than the individual. The goal is to harness and strengthen family resources, and help family members work collaboratively toward solutions to their problems.

Couples/Marriage

Couples counseling, couples therapy, and marriage counseling are for romantic and non-romantic partners who find they are in a negative pattern they cannot change. Children & Adolescents

Child and adolescent counseling helps children or young people explore any concerns that may be causing problems in their social, emotional or cognitive development. The therapeutic process gives them the opportunity to express difficult or confused feelings in a safe environment with clear boundaries.

Though there is talking involved in the therapy process, child/adolescent therapy incorporates many activities, play and games. It is important for us to engage and interact with the child/adolescent, versus talking at them. We incorporate others in the therapy process depending on the nature of the problem and the child/adolescent’s environmental resources.
